Snapchat Verification Code: Get It Without Your SIM

23/09/2026

Snapchat asks for a phone number at signup and again when you log in on a new device. If you want a second account, a fresh start, or just refuse to attach your real SIM to Snap's contact-sync machinery, a virtual number gets you the code.

Getting verified

  1. Pick Snapchat in the AgoVerify catalog and choose a country route.
  2. Enter the number in Snapchat's phone field, tap continue, request the code once.
  3. Watch your order page — the SMS appears within seconds to a couple of minutes.

When Snapchat says "this number can't be used"

That message means the number is either VoIP (Snap blocks most) or recycled from a banned account. Do not retry the same number — cancel the order (automatic refund on AgoVerify) and take a fresh one, ideally on a different country route. Real-SIM routes pass Snap's carrier check far more reliably than cheap VoIP inventory.

New-device logins

Here is the catch with disposable numbers: Snapchat re-verifies on every new device. If you uninstall the app or change phones, it will want the code again on a number you no longer hold. Mitigate it:

  • Bind and verify an email in settings.
  • Set up two-factor via authenticator app (not SMS).
  • Save your recovery code — Snap generates one in Settings → Two-Factor Authentication.

Disposable numbers are perfect for the signup gate; just do not leave them as the only key.
